The Ascension Chronicles: Spheres of Influence introduces a vast science-fiction universe of hidden space programs, extraterrestrial alliances, ancient civilizations, advanced technology and a conflict over the future of human consciousness.
At the center of the story is a man who once studied to become a Christian minister, only to be drawn into the worlds of esotericism, secret space programs and non-human intelligence by a mysterious being that continually changes its appearance and identity. As his experience with the phenomenon deepens, each new encounter forces him to question whether the masks being shown to him are extraterrestrial, spiritual—or something humanity once worshiped and feared.
What begins as a story about visitors from outer space gradually expands into a deeper mystery. The characters discover that much of what humanity interprets as alien contact may originate within spiritual and interdimensional realms. Paranormal activity, apparitions, altered states, ancient gods, angels, demons and modern encounters with non-human intelligence may all be different expressions of the same hidden reality.
As old alliances fracture and the boundaries between science, consciousness and spirituality begin to collapse, the central question becomes impossible to ignore:
Are these beings aliens, extradimensional intelligences, the old gods of human civilization—or the angels and demons described in the Bible?
Spheres of Influence is the first installment in a planned series of ten interconnected Ascension Chronicles graphic novels. Nine additional volumes are currently in development, expanding the characters, civilizations, spiritual mysteries and cosmic conflicts introduced in the original story.
Across the series, the protagonist’s journey ultimately brings him full circle—back to the questions of faith he once left behind, but now with an understanding shaped by everything he has witnessed beyond the accepted boundaries of religion, science and reality.
The Ascension Chronicles also provides part of the foundation for the larger 20 and Back universe, including Project Moonshadow, Project Solar Warden, live-action productions and video games currently in development.
20 AND BACK: PROJECT MOONSHADOW
Cody West is a struggling 23-year-old college dropout working at a marijuana dispensary in Colorado. Plagued by blackouts, neurological episodes and terrifying visions of interstellar warfare, Cody fears that he may be losing his mind. He remembers battles he never fought, military training he never received and the voice of Kevin, his missing older brother, warning him that something has gone terribly wrong.
Cody’s search for answers leads him to the beautiful and dangerously manipulative Dr. Evelyn Hill, a psychiatrist and neurologist with hidden ties to Project Moonshadow. Under her care, Cody begins recovering memories of childhood abductions, paranormal training and a classified military program that drafted gifted children into a galactic and temporal war.
The truth is almost impossible to accept. Cody, Kevin and their childhood friend Red Lee were forced to serve twenty years in an off-world Secret Space Program. At the end of their service, they were age-regressed, had their memories erased and were returned to the moment they originally left. Cody has lived two lives—and the soldier he once became is beginning to awaken inside him.
With the 2033 Solar Micronova approaching, Cody learns that a failed mission involving an ancient artifact may have cost Kevin and Red their lives and placed Earth’s civilization in danger. He has less than a day to recover his stolen skills, return to the erased timeline and confront an ancient enemy entombed beneath the ruins of Iraq.
But saving the future may require Cody to sacrifice his memories—and himself—one more time.

20 AND BACK: PROJECT SOLAR WARDEN
Every missing memory hides another life.
20 and Back: Project Solar Warden is the companion graphic novel and webcomic series to Project Moonshadow. While the prose novel follows Cody West on Earth as he struggles to recover his erased memories, Project Solar Warden tells the mirror story—the twenty missing years Cody, Kevin and Red spent fighting beyond Earth.
This is not a retelling or direct adaptation of the novel. It is the other canonical half of the story.
The visual series follows the three childhood friends through their recruitment into Project Moonshadow, paranormal and military training, forced deployment and service aboard advanced spacecraft. Across distant planets, lunar installations and fractured timelines, they encounter alien civilizations, secret human space programs, ancient technology and a war being fought across both the galaxy and history itself.
As Cody becomes an experienced off-world operative, his consciousness periodically crosses into the life of the younger man he will eventually become after being age-regressed and returned to Earth. Decisions made in the graphic novel affect the events remembered in the book, while discoveries in Project Moonshadow reveal the hidden meaning behind missions depicted in Project Solar Warden.
Together, the two projects form one interconnected narrative: Project Moonshadow reveals Cody’s life on Earth, while Project Solar Warden reveals the life that was stolen from him among the stars.
